Pateros honors internationally-acclaimed artist

The local government of Pateros has passed a resolution commending Rachel Angela S. Gonzales, a home-grown talent and internationally acclaimed international art director and multi-disciplinary artist, for her numerous international exhibits and recognition. Gonzales, a resident of Barangay Sto. Rosario Kanluran in Pateros, gained worldwide attention after being featured in a billboard in New York Times Square, USA, following her recognition as the "2022 Outstanding Young Art Director of the Year-International Excellence Awards".

In a ceremony held at the Pateros Municipal Hall, the resolution was presented to Gonzales by Mayor Miguel Ponce III, together with the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, acknowledging her achievements and bringing pride to the municipality of Pateros.

Gonzales, who started her artistic journey in Pateros, expressed her gratitude to the local government and her community for their support throughout her career. She hopes that her achievements will inspire the youth of Pateros to pursue their passions and dreams.
